Chapter four. The Ecounter

Scarlet Pov 

I followed Jackie inside because she's the only one to take me out of this mess right now so I decided to go for the blind date "how much are you paying me?" I asked her going straight to the point she smiled which I wished I could just smash her on the face so the smile will just vanish but I don't think that's a good idea

"Well well that's my favorite person talking. Don't worry i'm giving you blank cheque and you will write the amount you want" she said smiling sheepishly which I just pouted 

"You know I don't want too many people knowing my face. I just hope I shouldn't meet one of the guys have fucked" I blurt out

"Ehw can you please not go there? I wonder why you're shameless sometimes?" Jackie question 

"Well maybe because I'm horny right now because my core is itching for release"

I wake up early in the morning before walking out to the shop to help with some little house chores Jackie following behind. We begin working together before my parents walked out "Good Morning" both I and Jackie greeted together

"When are you resuming work?" My mother asked which I sighed 

"I'm starting today" I lied 

"Then go and get dressed . I don't think it's a good idea to be late on your first day and Jackie you have to be at the office so both of you shoo" she said as we walked back to my room. 

"What now?" Jackie asked since she knows the truth 

"Let me call the director" I said picking up my phone "Hello sir" I greeted immediately he picked up putting it on speaker 

"How may I help you?" He asked which I could feel his not in a hood mood the way he answered 

"Sorry this Scar the one you gave your number to yesterday" 

"Oh sorry I forgot. You can meet me at Anderson Incorporated Company in a few minutes since we have a scene to shoot there and you might probably have one or two thing" he replies and ends the call before I could reply. 

I screamed happily hugging Jackie because at least he asked me to meet him which only means I have gotten the work.

I ambled to the toilet and bath before dressing up quickly in my normal wear which is short. Before Jackie came out I was fully dressed just waiting for her so I could tag along with her.

We both walked out to meet my parents arranging the shop. "Scar, are you wearing that?" She asked but I didn't reply so she continued "don't you think it's too revealing?" She asked again

"Let her be please" father came to my aid while I waved at them and walked out to meet Jackie who had already started the car.

She dropped me off at the company and the director said "all the best dear. I will pick you up later in the day for the blind date. I know you will be done by then" she said and waved at me while I waved back. 

"Good day sir"

"Welcome Scar just on time. You will be used as substitute since the other actresses couldn't make it" he said which I couldn't help but smile but immediately composed myself. 

Without wasting much time we begin where I was asked to stand beside the main male lead as his flings "Action" the director said

"You're nothing but a fraud. You cheated on me with this wore. What does she have that I don't" the main actress said biting the main lead on his chest

"I can explain please" he pleaded which she pushed him away and walked close to me jacking me

"You snatcher, you're the cause of all this, you caused a rift between us" she said, weeping while I tried to get her hands off me.

"Cut" the director said before the main lead let go of me and began cleaning her face while I adjusted my clothes while standing there while the director spoke with both main leads. I felt someone gaze on me but before I turned and look who it was he left already

"Scar you did well though your part is not that difficult" the director said

"Thank you sir" 

"Good I will give you the contract now so you can sign and return it tomorrow at the office. You have my contact already call me when you're coming"

"Alright sir, '' I said before taking the contract from him. I called Jackie seeing its almost time for her stupid blind date 

"Hey I'm through" I said without further explanation which I know she understands what I mean. Not more than thirty minutes after Jackie arrived. 

"How was it?" She asked 

"Normal. I got the contract" I said happily which she hugs me

"Congrat Scar" she said" we need to go shopping" Jackie said 

"Why?" I asked because I don't get why we should go shopping 

"Well you're bad ass at it so why not dress holy so he will get discouraged. You know most guys are after mini and not long gowns" she said which we both laughed evilly before walking to car and drive straight to Versace to get me something decent yet expensive. From there we go to beauty parlour for my makeup. Done with everything she drive me to my blind date venue 

"See Ya" she throw me a kiss throw the window which I did same. I was taken to my table since it was reserved under Jackie and her so called blind date. I spend more than minutes but seeing his not coming anytime soon I brought out my phone and dialed the directors number

"Jackie your blind date is not showing up" I complained through the phone which I listen to what she was saying 

"I'm leaving because it's getting late and I won't get a ride home. '' I replied, which she agreed to. I picked up my bag and walked out to get a convenient place to change because I can't go back home dressed like this which will make my mother question me. To save myself the stress I walked into the toilet

Immediately I stripe and about to put my other clothes someone open the door and walked in without knocking 

"Ops sorry" he said before he looks at me "what are you doing in the men's section?" He asked which I looked at him confused 

"Sorry" I said not getting it 

"I think you didn't read what was written at the top and just walked in" he said moving closer to me "but nevertheless I think you will need some help or what did you say?" He asked with a raise eyebrows 

"No I don't" I stammered seeing how close he his to me but before I could say another word he pushed me to the wall smashing his lips against mine. I started pushing him and beating him but he was too strong for me to handle
