Chapter 33

The mayor led the way to the seating area and took his seat at the table. He started the introductions, “Let’s start at the left end. Please introduce yourselves.” The woman on the end was a tall blonde with entirely too much makeup on. She stood, “I am Laura Foxx, secretary.” The man next to her was a short dark-haired man with a bushy mustache and beard, “I am Maxwell Zielinski.” The next was a woman with brown hair and really pretty blue eyes, “My name is Katherine Holmes.” The next person was an extremely tall man, around seven feet tall. He had shoulder-length jet black hair and icy blue eyes, “My name is Beau Parker.” Then an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair stood, “I am Kaleb Marcus. The last in line was a tiny, older, woman. When I say tiny, I mean approximately five feet tall. She had a full head of grey hair and a big attitude to make for her height, “My name is Barbara Quinn.”
