After we ended the call, Luke was looking at me with his brows furrowed and head cocked to one side, “Are you okay, love?” I was bawling like a baby as I buried my face in his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and rubbed circles on my back, calming me. When I was finally able to dry my tears, I breathed in his scent for a minute to calm myself a little more. He asked, “Are you ready to tell me what is going on?” I smiled as I looked into his eyes, “It worked. All of his tumors are completely gone. Judea called because Mateo was a blubbering mess.” Luke smiled as he hugged me tightly, “I am so proud of you. You are a blessing to so many, but most of all, you’re my blessing!” I looked up at him and there was a tear falling from his eye.
