I woke the next morning to the bright sunlight flooding our bedroom. I reached for my phone and looked at the screen. It is nine a.m.! I have never sleep this late! I woke up at the break of dawn the next morning, groaning because I couldn’t get back to sleep. With a sigh, I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for my day. I decided to just wear a pair of ripped blue jeans and a turquoise tank top. Then I put on my turquoise tennis shoes. I put my hair up in a high ponytail because I knew I had more cooking to do this morning. The alliance meeting is this afternoon, so I will need to fix a few platters of finger food too.
