I woke up at the break of dawn the next morning, groaning because I couldn’t get back to sleep. With a sigh, I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for my day. I began, “I guess I should start at the beginning. Luke and I went to Florida with Prince Aidinth, Princess Chloe, and King Mateo to help with one of her projects to help improve relations with the human population and to do an anti-poaching event. Grandma brought in a huge feast of lamb roast, fried chicken and pulled pork with a variety of sides to choose from. Everyone around the table started moaning in anticipation at the smells. After listening a little further, we found out they are talking about wolfsbane bombs. Wolfsbane can be deadly to wolves. In tiny amounts, it can be a strong pain killer for us but larger amounts will suppress our wolves and cause a horrible burning throughout our bodies. The amounts in a wolfsbane grenade or bomb would cause an excruciating death and keep our wolves from warning anyone else. I really didn’t think they knew anything about werebears because I wasn’t hearing anything that would suggest they knew how to torture or kill us. When Selene faded from sight, I stood and walked into the house. As soon as I stepped in, I could smell my favorite scent (besides that of my mate, of course) … bacon! I walked into the kitchen, refilled my coffee and asked my grandma, “Anything I can do to help?” She smiled, “Today is your special day. You sit and take it easy. I can take care of all the cooking. But you need to know that if anyone does die, it’s because they chose to do so. After lunch, we prepared to leave for the castle. I asked Cedric, “Did you all happen to glam the parking lot?” He nodded, “I did. I would highly suggest you have each of these vehicles take an alternate route.” I smiled, “Already on it.” I went around to each of the vehicles and told each of them that we need to only have two vehicles on each route. They all agreed and I got in our car. We took off for the castle and I could see that the six vehicles behind us went separate directions while one followed us. When we got to the castle, I saw the hunters sitting on a bench in front of the café. It was nice to be able to drive right past them without worrying about them. They have no clue how close they are to the castle. We parked in the parking lot and we were able to get in the castle without being seen by the hunters. When we got to the hall, my family walked ahead of me to be ushered into their seats while King Parker and I waited outside the door.
