Chapter 58

I woke up at the break of dawn the next morning, groaning because I couldn’t get back to sleep. With a sigh, I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for my day. I decided to just wear a pair of ripped blue jeans and a turquoise tank top. Then I put on my turquoise tennis shoes. I put my hair up in a high ponytail because I knew I had more cooking to do this morning. The alliance meeting is this afternoon, so I will need to fix a few platters of finger food too. There is no telling how long this meeting will take.

I walked downstairs and grabbed a cup of coffee, then walked out to the back deck to find my grandpa sitting in one of the chairs.
