CHAPTER 43: A MESS

FREYA'S POV:

Just as soon as the school bell rings, I walk into my first class for the new week as unenthusiastic as ever, fully depressed and clad in an oversized hoodie and jeans.

My attire is enough to tell a whole story on just what’s going on with me.

And if you still didn’t get the message, wait till I release my full head of nested hair, three days comb-free.

It’s not like I choose to ignore a few steps in the body hygiene routine and dress like a homeless child, it’s more of school just isn’t what it used to be.

The joy of it was sucked out with the news of my new class and I didn’t feel like I was living again.

My friends are on the other side of the school campus and the exciting subjects were watered down into boring lessons I had to go through.

Sometimes, I even feel bad using my brain’s full potential for fear of making everyone else feel stupid.

I drop on my seat, waiting for the teacher to walk in.
