Conflicted

"Austin, please." I said as the woman approached her again, the clamps ready to be used. Lily blinked, and I could see the fear in her eyes. I could see the slight apprehension and I knew how she was feeling. Very close to how I felt as those floors broke through.

Austin shook his head and the woman pinned Lily down again, and pulled her fingers close. She put in her longest finger and pressed down with all her might and Lily screamed, her chest heaving, her head thrown back.

Austin did not flinch, and neither did Beta Liam. But I wouldn't, if I had been in hid position and she had confessed to all of that.

After a few minutes, Austin told the woman to move away and she let Lily go, allowing her to breathe. Like looked miserable, her breath ragged, and her stubborn pride gone.

"Go on." Austin said, releasing my hand. He went and dragged a seat and sat opposite her, without even looking at Simon. Simon probably thought he would be the next.
