Chapter 47 - The marriage contract

Killian POV

I walk into the flat, and I can smell her scent in here. I can tell Ashley was in there. Her smell is all around this house. I can tell. I walk into the bathroom next to the bedroom and I see all of her makeup and hair stuff spread around. I smile, looking around, and slowly I put everything away before turning the tap on and washing my hand. The dry blood goes down the drain with the water, washing it from my hands. I look in the mirror and smile, as I can’t see any bruises. Good.

I strip my bloodied clothes off and turn the shower on. I get inside, feeling the hot water falling on my head while I rest both my hands against the wall with my head hanging low. I shake my head before getting my shower done. Once I am done and dressed in only one pair of jeans when I hear the door open. I walk towards the door, and I see her, beautiful.
