But before Kai could see the play, they reached the hotel.

“Anything else?” Nik asked, without confirming the previous topic.

Lily shook her head with eyes fixated on Nik, trying to read the expression on his blank face.

“Kai, ask the staff to book a suite for her in my name.”

Kai nodded, got down, and opened the door for Lily. But Lily’s heart stopped to see the building and surroundings. She looked at Niklaus and fumbled, “Isn’t it the hotel we stayed at yesterday?” Her voice cracked at the end and the sadness and fear were evident in her eyes.

“Yes! Are you fine? Shall I take you to another hotel?”

Lily took a deep breath and asked, “Do you own any other hotel?” She didn’t want to stay at the same hotel but also didn’t want to stay in someone’s hotel as she doesn’t have any identity card with her.

“No! Why?”

Lily once again remained silent and shook her head. After some thought, she muttered in the feeblest voice, “Can I stay somewhere else apart from hotels?”
