"I don’t know!” Kai shrugged his shoulder. He felt Mrs. Emily Cooper wouldn’t be considering a girl with such a bad reputation and family relationships. But he didn’t want to discourage Niklaus and let him try his best to get his mother’s permission to marry Miss Lily.

“Whatever, let’s go!” Nik hissed and after him, Kai followed to the car.

Nik knocked on the house door. His heart was trembling and galloping with tension. Making his mother accept Lily was the only way to escape from a real marriage.
