Chapter 27

Six months ago I tried to let Caleb know about Trisha’s lying but I just failed. He didn't even waste time listening to me. He did not let me explain. Even though it was my last chance to talk to him, I hope he still gave in to me. If that's what he wants, I'll let him. I will not disturb them anymore. I can only tell all of Trisha’s lies, I don’t care what her decision may be. I will no longer question him whether he will still stay with Trisha or he will just leave it. Even if he doesn't come back to me. What matters is that he knows the truth.

But I was not able to explain everything to him because he deprived me of the opportunity.

"Bri, let's go."

I looked up at Keziah when she asked me to leave the classroom because we had been dismissed. I didn't feel like getting up and then took my bag. I followed her outside.

We walked out of the classroom together.

We didn’t go straight to the parking lot right away. Kez and I waited for a while for Reign in the forest. We went home earlier
