Rumpled 5

CIARA

I was truly amazed. He never really seized to amaze me. He'd managed to make the conversation about his cock so effortlessly. Why  did I not see his perverted side earlier? And his cocky side as well? But asides that, he said he could grant wishes. I wasn't really in a position to doubt that because I'd seen him make things appear and disappear, on and off, open and close… paralyze. But I was yet to see more than that. And to be honest, I wasn't sure I wanted to see more than that. But if he could truly grant wishes, then I could just wish to be out of here.

"You can't wish to leave," he said with a smirk, just as I was about to open my mouth and speak. Don't tell me mind reading was part of his powers as well. "At least not at first," he added. "That could be your last wish. If you will get to a last wish, that is," he said, "It all just depends on how good you are. So the sooner you're able to please me, the sooner you get to leave and carry on with your boring life." He smiled and his eyes turned a slight shade of blue. Don't ask me why I was suddenly taking note of these things.

"And how exactly do I know you're telling the truth?" I asked him. Was I even considering this? Was I really going to give into becoming this man's sex toy? I'd never even had sex before and he wanted me to…please him? The more I thought of it, the more fucked up I realized the whole thing was. Sure, I had sexual desires and under normal circumstances, Rian would have been a suitable choice to lose my virginity to, he was very hot but this weren't normal circumstances. It was far from that.

"Darling, you just have to take my word for it. It's not like you have any other choice," he shrugged, "Well, unless you want to remain here…with me." I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat. There was no way I was spending the rest of my life locked in here with him. That wasn't possible. It was the exact opposite of what I wanted. I would rather just go back to the palace instead. It's possible that he was just a lonely fairy looking for a companion but I wasn't going to be that companion.

"What transpired between you and my mother, I want to know what really happened," I told him, changing the topic for a bit. I actually did want to know what my mother had to do with this. He'd mentioned it the previous night before I passed out and I wanted the full story. But that also brought me to the fact that Rian was probably a century old. Well, he did say he was a fairy and I guess fairies don't age? Or was that vampires? Either way, the thought of the whole thing was so…abnormal.

Rian released an exaggerated sigh before getting up and walking over to the table with a lot of ancient candle holders on it. He spoke as he began lighting the candles one after the other. "Your mother was nothing but a carpenter's daughter who found herself in a dire situation with the wicked king after her foolish father made an impossible deal with him. I mean, now I think of it, they are all insane people." He turned to look at me for a second, shrugging. I wondered why he couldn't just snap his fingers instead of lighting the candles by himself.

He continued when I didn't say anything, "so here's the thing, your dear father was going to behead your mother or whatever if she didn't spin straw into gold," he turned to chuckle at the bewildered expression on my face, "I know, right?"

"Wait… what?" I blurted out, trying to make sense of what he'd just said. "You mean, my father, the king, asked my mum to spin straw into gold or he'd kill her? How's that even possible? Was he on something? Alcohol perhaps?" My father was a 'casual' drinker but not many people knew about his drinking problem and those who did, pretended not it. It was the king we were talking about here.

"Your grandfather made the king believe that, he was insane. And your father is stupid too." Rian shook his head, finally done with lighting the candles and strolled back to his seat. I noticed he hadn't touched his food and that made me stop eating as well. He wouldn't drug me again or poison me would he? Nevertheless, I think I had already had enough to eat. On the other hand, this story was sounding a lot like some fairytale or bedtime story.

"So… What happened next? What did my mother do?" I asked, curious to know how she could have possible done what was asked of her. It was obviously impossible so my best guess was that my father had mercy on her, they fell in love and lived happily ever after. But something told me that wasn't the case, especially with the way Rian was presently staring at me like I was the dumbest living thing on the planet. I think I preferred his smirk to this look.

"Wow," he mumbled, shaking his head in what looked like a mixture of amusement and disbelief. "To think you would have put it all together by now," he said, making feel even more stupid. I rolled my eyes at him. "Well, your poor mother was confused and distressed and a little fairy decided to come to her rescue."

It hit me. "And that's you."

"Yes, darling," he said, rolling his own eyes to emphasize on the fact that I was slow. But asides that, I needed him to roll his eyes again. He looked undeniably hot while doing it. And I can't believe that was why I was thinking about at that moment. Shame on me.

"You know, you look more like an elf." I decided to take a jab at him. He only raised those dark eyebrows of his and scoffed, deciding not to make a comment on what I'd said. It was my turn to smirk.

"Anyway," he continued, drawing the last syllable like I hadn't said anything. I found his demeanor a bit amusing and to be honest, I was getting a little comfortable with seeing these different sides of Rian in just twenty four hours with him. But what he'd done earlier was definitely still a barrier between us. And the fact that he wouldn't let me go too. I felt like he still hadn't told me his real aim here. "As I was saying, I came to her rescue, offered to help and she'd give me something in return. She gave me her necklace and I did my trick, only for the king to ask her to spin another set of straws into gold."

"You've got to be kidding me," I muttered, not believing my ears.

"So, being the wonderful fairy that I am, I showed up again," Rian said with a smile and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh please, what did you take in return the second time? Her ring?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

Rian grinned. "Actually…" he trailed, proving me right.

I scoffed and shook my head slightly. "Wow, I wasn't wrong," I noted. "So what then happened after you helped her?"

"Well, believe it or not but your father had another room full of straws for some reason," Rian shrugged, "the man is a psycho."

"That's my father."

Rian looked me in the eye this time and he repeated, "your father is a psycho."

The nerves. The nerves he had.

I cleared my throat and waited for him to continue his story. In all honestly, I was finding it difficult to believe a single word that came out of his mouth. For all I know, he could be making the whole thing up. He got up from his seat once again and began walking towards me. I had to swallow the lump that had formed in my throat.

"Well, unfortunately, your poor mother had nothing to give me the third time," he said, placing his hands on my seat's chair arms and bringing his face close to mine. "So I made her promise that she'd give me her firstborn after she's queen. Of course, the king promised to marry her if she spinned the last set of straws into gold." My breath hitched.

He gently grabbed my chin, bringing my face up to meet his. He stared down at my lips as he spoke his next words and I felt his minty breath on my lips. "And that firstborn is you, my princess." He smirked and I just knew he was about to say something snarky. "Well, of course, I had no idea you'd turn out this sexy…"

My cheeks heated up on hearing that and I immediately released myself from his grip, turning away and he chuckled. "Well, after you were born, I came to claim my prize," he was properly standing in front of me now, "and your mother simply decided not to keep her promise. She banished me even, saying she was having mercy on me by sparing my life." Rian burst out laughing after saying that. "Like she could kill me if she tried! I could snap my fingers and all of Hartfield would be dead."

"So why don't you?" I dared to ask. Why would he have so much power and not use it? Some things weren't just adding up.

Rian looked down at me and smiled. "Because things just don't work that way. We fairies do have rules. Wiping out humanity is simply against our nature in as much as humans could be deceitful, untrustworthy and foolish creatures." He concluded, walking back to his seat and finally pouring himself a glass of wine.

I was thinking, what are the odds that my mother had managed to protect me all these years and yet, I foolishly ran away and I still willingly ran to the psycho fairy that had been after me even before I was born.

"So what exactly were your plans when you asked for her firstborn?" I decided to take the bull by the horn and ask him. "What were you going to do with the baby?"

Rian smirked. "You mean, what was I going to do with you?" he asked instead and I rolled my eyes. He shrugged and replied, "I don't know, there are a lot of things you can do with a human baby." He chuckled obviously finding the whole thing funny but I definitely was not.

"So, princess, satisfy me. Make me cum… make me beg for more…" he was walking towards me again with a glass of wine in his hand. "And I'll grant you three wishes. And you even get to leave here."

I looked up at him, considering his offer. Though it wasn't much of an offer since I had no other choice. Thing is, I always wanted to have a wild and fascinating experience of life—beyond what the palace's four walls could ever offer. Maybe this was my chance?

Rian bent over to meet my face level. "What do you say, princess?" he mumbled before grabbing a cherry off the stark on the table and placing it in between his teeth.

And like I was truly out of control, I met his lips and bit the other half of the cherry, kissing him in the process. And let's just say the kiss was nothing but sensational. The way he nibbled on my lower lip and swept his tongue gently and swiftly over my lips, I was impressed.

I was on my feet before I knew it and Rian did not hesitate in groping my ass and squeezing my ass cheeks like his life depended on it as we deepened the kiss. I really felt electricity running through my veins.
