Camilla POV…

I did not expect that Lenox will know that I wanted to meet him so badly. Although I was shocked, I did not hesitate to accept his invitation.

Even though I knew that I might be walking into a trap, I did not have time to dilly-dally. Lucien's reputation was at stake and the citizens’ reaction online was getting worse. Everyone was cursing at him and there was no voice that was speaking in his favor.

I quickly went to the bedroom to get changed before I headed out in a hurry. If Lucien returned before I left, then no matter what I say, he will not allow me to leave the house alone.

“Sis, I am leaving. Take care and don’t go anywhere. If Lucien comes back before I do, just tell him that I went to buy something at the supermarket!” I said to Zelma who was sitting dazedly on a chair.

I knew that her worries were founded, but what I can do? Lucien needed my help now more than anything else.

“Okay sis, please take care and don’t let anything happen to you!”
