CHAPTER 83

Maya opened her eyes on a Friday morning, silently thanking that her headache had subsided and heard the door to the room that she is staying in since the accident she had with Grayson opened.

She sat up slowly and saw Grayson coming in with a glass of water and a bottle of aspirin.

“How are you feeling?!” He asked as he sat on her side after handing her the glass and one tablet. “Yasmine prepared some breakfast as well. Shall I have it brought here?”

After taking the pill and finishing the water, she shook her head and sat up straighter, fully leaning on the headboard. She looked at him silently, her hand on top of his. “Grayson, please be honest with me," she started slowly. "D-Do you think I did the right thing?”

Grayson gave her an understanding smile.

“If there were no threats in influencing your decision, Maya, then you definitely did wrong,” he answered gently. “But, let’s not talk about that, alright? Take a quick shower while I wait for you at the dining?”

Maya only nodded an
