Sofia’s pov

Waking up with Luca beside me would never feel old to me, it was something I’d always love. It was something I’d always feel my heart flutter at, each morning that turns out like this. Luca was fast asleep and I nuzzled into his throat and grinned when his hands tightened around me on reflex, when I was a hundred percent sure he was fast asleep.

I managed to fall back asleep that way, and didn’t wake up until probably an hour later, to his lips scattering kisses over every part of my face, and I giggled as I slowly blinked my eyes open to stare at him. My eyes fell on his lips and back on his eyes and I watched as a small, knowing grin made its way to his face. Why he was refusing to kiss me was still beyond. Apart from that night when he had said that I was a bad girl and needed to earn the kiss, he hadn’t kissed me on the lips since then.
