The Mystery Of Zimicah
The Mystery Of Zimicah
Author: Mythphilia

Prologue

If Zimicah is viewed on the highest mountain in the area, the people would say that it is a lovely paradise.

The dense colourful forests gave an aesthetic effect that attracted most animals and varieties of birds, some white, pink, black any kind that could be found on the planet earth. They could be in different sizes, some giants and some small. All the impossible could be seen on this tiny nation.

It is such a beautiful place with much surprising entities living on its grassy surface. The society was at the centre of the forests, with few people residing in it. Houses were built spaced from the next one as all of their grassy roofs took shade from the giant trees that could almost reach the blue skies.

Ever since it had been founded, Zimicah had nurtured a maximum of six Chiefs who were all blood related, each with different styles on how they reigned over the tiny nation.

It is after fifty years and the time has come, time for the new generation to take over where they had all left. Starting from the current Chief who is at an age to retire and give his only daughter a chance to take over this fantastical land.

"Granny have you seen Adanna?" A young girl with chocolate skin and light brown eyes appeared in front of an old aged woman who was seated on a straw mat under a tree. "Aly, What happened? Aren't you always together?" She asked patting the little girl's fluffy and curly hair.

"Yes granny but she is upset." The little girl responded as she jumped on the other's laps. She was short and pretty. Alyssa Micah being her full name, and she was about eight years old.

The relatives of the Chief were the only people who had last names, Micah being the one agreed upon by the first Chief who established this society.

Alyssa Micah being the closest heir had the first right to take over the leadership. Fortunately men and women were equal and they did pretty the same things. So little Alyssa being a female chief wasn't going to be odd. The people had to wait for yet another eight years for their new Chief.

"Granny tell me a story," she pleaded pouting cutely as she excitedly leaned closer to her grandma's bosom. The old woman smiled as she prepared for yet another story to tell to her little granddaughter. Alyssa waited to hear the same catchy phrase, "Once upon a time..."
