Chapter 7

Waking up the following morning, Adanna and Alyssa welcomed two visitors.

"Isn't he the weirdo from yesterday?" Adanna asked pointing at one of the two men. She pointed at the blue haired male they had met the day before.

He looked neat and his looks were profound that he had tied his hair at the back. He plaited the endings in a goddard hairstyle letting it fall at his lower back. He left the wavy strands coming from the top of his hair flow to his sides.

His light tanned white skin shined as it was covered by a black gown which reached on the mid of his femur. He worn some khaki trousers and slippers made of grass.

Beside him a friend his age and same height stood observing the two. He scrutinised their looks and clothing. Paying much attention to Alyssa who started feeling uncomfortable from his non-stop gaze.

The two girls were seeing this new face for the first time. He had wavy straight black hair that reached his waist. And he had very pale skin and strange dim yellow eyes. He was very handsome with a sharp jaw and some light pink lips. A pointy nose, everything about him was so beautiful. In fact perfect.

He worn a green gown which reached his ankles and the two could hardly see his bare feet which had gotten dusty from walking on the loom soils.

Welcoming them inside afraid that they would catch a cold from standing on the door steps, the two males were instructed to sit on a mat, as Adanna got ready as she made something to eat. They didn't feel alright to not feed visitors, for they were taught since their young days that they should welcome the visitor with some tea or food.

"What brings you two goddesses to this taunting village." The blue haired commented as he looked around the empty room.

"Daliah stop it you're being impolite to the lovely ladies," the other man scolded as he looked at Alyssa who felt a shiver run down from her spine.

'Pfft,' the man named Daliah remarked instead as he received a threatening glare from his friend who tried to smile in apology.

"It is alright Mr..." Alyssa tried.

"Just call me Zane. How do you find Zimicah so far?" The friend responded ignoring Daliah's tantrums.

Surprised the two girls stared at one another. 'ZIMICAH?' What in the world is happening." This thought crossed the mind of the two girls. Confused Alyssa faked a smile as she said, "Okay I guess."

Zane nodded quietly, "What can I call you?" He genuinely asked.

"Sorry for not introducing ourselves earlier. I am Alyssah Micah and this is my friend Adanna."

"Adanna Micah?" Daliah asked looking at the other as she started serving yesterday night's left overs with some tea. "Just Adanna," she corrected feeling somehow irritated with him.

The other two started talking to one another as Alyssa watched him eat the white rice. "Oh you have such a beautiful name," Zane complimented as he watched Alyssa redden and tried really hard not to embarrass herself. "Thank you," she squeaked mentally telling herself to hide behind her friend.

"Thank you for the delicious meal." He thanked as he abled his friend to do the same.

"You don't have to be this polite. It's just some white rice and a cup of tea." She murmured softly watching him smile and say nothing.

"Do you girls want to take another stroll around the village?" He asked as Daliah kept nodding wanting the two to say yes. Looking at each other Alyssa and Adanna said yes earning a beam of smiles from the two.

When Zane was about to get up he felt a sudden weakness and collapsed on the mat straining his ankle. Worried the three went to his side as they gathered some blankets and laid it there.

When he had sat comfortably, he started coughing as little blood escaped from his mouth. "What is happening to him?" Alyssa asked going to his side. Zane leaned to her top as he kept on coughing. Squinting his yellow eyes as he watched her face filled with worry.

"Do not worry he only needs some rest. He will be fine in four days this happens at the begining of every month. He was stubborn enough to drag his body to see you two." Daliah explained as he watched his friend's coughs lessen bit by bit.

Giving him some water Alyssa watched him drink every drop as he rested his back on the wall. "I am sorry I ruined ...."

"Don't say anymore. It isn't your fault." She comforted. They decided to converse as they sat in a circle like as they each shared their backgrounds obviously Alyssa and Adanna leaving out their origins. And maybe giving off some of their crafted lies.

They were told that Zane had always been sickly since birth and as unusual as that sounded he was worse on the first five days of every month.

Alyssa looked at him and felt sad for him. 'What a poor soul.' She thought as he looked at her with a slight smile on his now cracked up lips. Caught staring she looked somewhere else and the four made it through noon before bidding goodbyes. And promised to see each.

"Zane is handsome!" Adanna voiced as she received a blank stare from her friend. "What? I am only telling the truth. He is and that idiot too."

"They seem older than us maybe they are eighteen. Do you think we can be friends," she continued her banter as she looked at Alyssa who sighed and said, "Remember that we are staying only for a few days."

After saying that she stood up and left the room. She walked to a tree and sat below it as she started to wonder why there was a Zimicah like this place. Looking around she found no answer. Nothing was similar or familiar to her home she had grown attached and treasured really well. But now it no longer existed and here...

"Just what have we gotten ourselves into?"
