“Oh my God, I can’t believe we are going there.” Persephone breathed out when everyone left for their respective place.

“Yes, We are, Love.” He laughed, kissing her hand.

“But, would it be dangerous?” She asked as they walked down the forest, holding hands.

“It won’t be, the relics won’t react unless provoked.” He reassured her, grinning.

“I see. So we are safe.” She sighed in relief.

“We will see it, what’s higher up haven’t seen but we are going to.” She giggled, resting her hand on her heart.

“And it's a secret so make sure to keep your mouth sealed unless you don’t want to become a widow before our marriage.” He chuckled, shaking his head.

“Don’t worry, my lips are sealed. Can’t bring you trouble, can I?” She laughed a little as they went to the local market in the capital.

“Persephone.” Zadicus called after a while, wrapping his hand around her shoulder.

“Hmm?” She hummed, looking around to find a food stall.

“You’re so beautiful, you know.” He murmured, bringing a sheepish smile
