Bloodshot

Cassie looked shocked with what she saw and she got even more annoyed when they didn't notice her. She deliberately dropped her book to interrupt and it worked. Both Davis and Stella turned to look at her with a surprised look.

Davis' eyes darkened the next moment. "How dare you walk in without knocking?" He asked in a hard tone, the softness and playfulness he was using to talk to Stella earlier was all gone.

Cassie was shocked with the look on his face. She once remembered that Davis promised to fire her the next time she misbehaves, did she screw up?

"Why did you come in without knocking? If I talk the second time you're fired and if you didn't come here for a valuable reason then you're fired!" He added, Stella forgot she was still sitting in his lips as she placed her hands on his hands that were around her stomach.

Cassie blinked repeatedly, she came here for no reason actually. She wanted to check if Stella was in since she saw the kids eating at the cafeteria.
