Chapter 26

As Paris entered the suit of the hotel. She was surprised Greyson was home already.

"I thought, I would leave work early to comfort you of the day you had," said Greyson meeting her in the living room.

Paris froze staring at him as he walked to her with both arms widened. Greyson hugged her. Her chin rested on his shoulder ashamed of returning his hug. She began to cry hating she had let him down.

Before their face could meet Paris wiped away her tears.

"How was today?" asked Greyson.

"It was okay, Archer is handling the news about his injury very well," retorted Paris.

"That's good," said Greyson.

Paris nodded.

"I'm tired," I'm going to get some sleep," said Paris as she walked off.

"Do you want me to order dinner for you later?" asked Greyson.

"I'm not hungry."

"Okay," retorted Greyson.
