Her Worry

[Leah’s POV]

I watched as Asher made his way back down the stairs and out of the house. Something about the tension and frustration that radiated off of him left me uneasy, but since I didn’t know exactly what was going on with him, there was nothing I could do to help.

As I continued to stand there, Thia appeared and peaked up at me. Her eyes that took me in were filled with questioning and concern as she made her way towards me.

"Did you two fight again?" She asked once she reached me. "Leah, what exactly is going on here?"

"Follow me." I sighed, deciding maybe it would be a good idea to talk to someone about the worry that was slowly beginning to eat away at my soul. "I need to feed Arabia. We can talk while I do that. "

"Alright." Thia murmured, beginning to follow me towards my room.

Once inside, I plopped on my bed and got comfortable so that I could begin to nurse. Only after Arabia was latched and happily eating did I look to Thia, who remained in the doorway.
