The next day

I’m awakened by the sounds of footsteps walking down the stairs into the basement. I sat up tiredly, my face scrunched in discomfort as pain shot from my body from lying on the ground for so long. A frown morphed on my face immediately Lavender came into view, a wide smile on her face as usual.

“Bella.” I rolled my eyes when she called in a soft voice as she stood before my cell. “It’s so cold here, how do you cope with this?” She rubbed her arms, looking around the basement. “I see you’re pretty used to this already.” She chuckled, her lips stretching into a smirk. “So how're you doing?” She asked and moved about the cell, running her well manicured fingers on the bars.

“Pretty good, much to your displeasure, hmm?” I finally gave her a reply, tilting my head to the side, allowing my lips to curve into a sly smile.

“Ouch, bad for me.” She placed her hands on her chest dramatically, faking a hurt look. “Well, I don’t think you’ll be good if you spend a few more days here,
