Chapter 69

Willow POV

After they left, I decided to have a bath and relax before climbing into bed. I hadn’t felt right all day and something was nagging at me inside.

I had drifted off at midnight only to be woken up by shouting and our pack alarm going off.

We were under attack.

I try to push for my parents through the mind link but both had it closed off.

I got out of bed when I heard a blood curdling scream and a multitude of explosions hit the ground floor.

I race out of my room to the stairs to find fire had already engulfed the downstairs door and hallway, also blocking my route to the back door. The flames start to climb the stairs and I race back into my bedroom. I open my window to jump out when I can’t seem to get past the window frame. Almost like an invisible barrier stopping me.

Witchcraft!

Panicking I raced back into the hallway to find it is now engulfed by smoke and flames. I can’t even get into my parent’s room. I try to cover my mouth and shout for help.
