Edgar kept throwing worried looks at me as I was leaving the building. Faking a smile at him but failed miserably. I sighed and opened the car door. Thank goodness, Eric hadn't noticed the shift in my mood, so I better pretend to be fine. Taking a seat in the car, pulling the seat belt, plugging it in, I leaned back and closed my eyes. I felt eyes on me but I kept my face blank devoid of any emotions. Eric started the car and I felt a bit calm by the sound of gears which distracted me from my thought.

"Are you okay?" He asked, softly. I felt his palm over my hand to comfort me.

Well, it should be the other way around. I thought he was involved with Leon as they all were best friends and we shifted to another city to it was harder to go ask him myself. I was blinded by rage and betrayal so I assumed he was also involved.
