when Furi returned to their house, he found their belongings scattered everywhere.

There are clothes hanging on the electric fan, socks scattered on the floor, pairs of shoes behind the door and under the table, books lying on the table and dishes waiting to be washed in the sink.

He almost let out a deep breath and as soon as he put down his things, he sat on the chair.

Then he put away their scattered things one by one. He also swept and wiped the table. He arranged and returned Matt's books to their original place, as well as the trash he hadn't disposed of yet and he ended up outside.

When he had tidied and cleaned the living room, he next went to the kitchen. To wash the glasses and plates they used this morning.

When he was done with the laundry, he turned to their wall clock in the living room for a moment and noticed that it was nine o'clock but Matt still hadn't come or even come home.

It seemed that he suddenly thought about what he saw and heard from the restaurant that he and Nasher went to this morning. Where, she also did not expect to see her boyfriend there in a waiter's uniform. In those moments he felt apprehension and wonder about Matt.

As far as he knows, he is studying and not working in an expensive restaurant.

A few moments later, he suddenly heard the door open and caught a glimpse. He saw Matt looking very tired, as he looked him over from head to toe.

He noticed that she was wearing a school uniform and even had books in her hand, so she just shook her head and turned away from him.

Did I just roll my eyes earlier? or maybe it's a different Matt that the girls were talking about earlier in the restaurant? sailing through his mind, the young man suddenly found himself on the sofa and quickly fell asleep because of his long day's work.

The girl came a little closer to him and looked to see if he had really slept soundly, but he was already asleep and snoring.

So he made the most of that opportunity to confirm what had been bothering him.

He took her bag and brought it to the kitchen. He slowly pulled its zipper open and didn't see anything unusual there, except for his other school supplies.

It seemed that she suddenly breathed a sigh of relief when she realized that her boyfriend was actually studying. So he returned to the living room again, carrying his bag and put it aside.

Hey, oh Furi. What do you think of him now? Do you suspect him just because of what you heard earlier in the restaurant? he whispered in his mind, as he stood in front of Matt and watched him sleep soundly on the sofa.

After that, he didn't pay much attention to what he saw and heard in the restaurant. He thinks that he just misunderstood what he heard and just looked around thinking that Matt was the waiter he saw.

He just entered his room and changed his clothes. When he came out, he found that the young man was no longer there on the sofa, so he looked for him in the kitchen, but he was not there. He also peeked into her room, but she wasn't there either.

"Where did he go?" it is curious about itself. Until suddenly he heard voices from outside their house. He followed the voice he heard and barely peeked at the door.

That's when he realized that Matt was outside, while he was talking to someone on his cell phone that seemed to be in trouble.

"Okay, okay. I'll just call again tomorrow." Furi heard the last word from the person on the other line and then hung up, letting out a deep breath.

The girl quickly ran back to her room when she noticed that he turned around and walked back inside their house.

Furi almost leaned against the wall while holding his chest.

Who was he talking to earlier on his cell phone? and why did he have to come out earlier to talk to her? the girl's curiosity from her mind.

He peeked through his door for a moment and saw that Matt had entered the room.

He closed his door again and went to his bed to sit.

"Is Matt hiding something from me? Who called him at this hour?" he whispered to himself at the same time he glanced at his alarm clock that it was almost eleven o'clock at night.

He just didn't pay much attention to it and just lay down on his bed. But as he looked at the ceiling, he still couldn't help but doubt the young man's strange behavior.

It seems that he is still puzzled as to why he seems serious and troubled by what he is talking to on the cellphone.

Because of what she thought about that matter, she could hardly sleep and calm down, until she was not sure if her boyfriend was really keeping a secret from her.

That's why he got out of his room again and sat on the sofa. He turned on the television and was about to fall asleep. But his mind only troubled him more and more, especially when he watched the teleserye being aired on television. It is about a relationship that suddenly broke up due to the man's secrecy and cheating on his partner.

Because of that, Furi's eyes widened and he was just focused on every scene that was shown on tv.

She almost stood up when she suddenly came out and showed that there was another woman with her boyfriend.

A wrinkle drew on the girl's forehead and she was very annoyed with the actress who plays as another woman of a male character in the show.

"Hays! if only I was his girlfriend, I might have already killed his girl!" he said annoyed but he immediately covered his mouth when he realized that what he said had become louder.

So he just turned off the TV and sat down on the sofa again. He was just facing and looking at the door of Matt's room, until he felt a weight from his eyelids and he finally fell asleep there on the sofa.

The next morning, when he woke up, he found himself lying in his room. He quickly got out of bed and headed out of his room.

He noticed that the door to the young man's room was open, so he approached it and peered inside.

"Matt?" he called but no one answered. Until he opened the door completely and found that he was not inside.

"Where did that go? It's still morning, isn't it?" he was curious as he looked at their wall clock which was just seven in the morning.

He went back into his room and took out his cellphone. She tried to contact her boyfriend, but he didn't answer.

"Why doesn't he answer my calls to him?" he doubted as he was restless and just sat on the sofa.

He tried to contact the young man several times, but he never answered his calls.

Just for a few moments, he suddenly turned to their table, in the side of the kitchen and there were dishes laid out for him.

He stood up immediately and went to the kitchen. She noticed that her boyfriend even left a paper note for her.

"Eat a lot. I just have something important to go to." This is what Matt said in the letter left to him.

"Important place to go?" he was curious and that's why he sat down to eat his breakfast.

The young man cooked and served Scrabble eggs, pandesal, hotdog, ham and fried rice for him.

She put aside her doubts about her boyfriend and just focused on eating the breakfast that was prepared for her.

After a while he finished eating and washed every plate and spoon left in their sink.

After that, he threw the trash in the trash when he suddenly stopped and turned again to the trash next to him.

Something seemed to catch his attention, so he picked it up and took it from the trash.

A piece of flyer that was just crumpled and it was as if he saw it just now.

He rearranged and unfolded that flyer. Until he realized that it was a flyer from the restaurant he and Nasher went to yesterday.

He could hardly believe what he discovered and he just stared at that flyer for a few minutes.

"Matt, what exactly are you hiding from me?" he said to himself.

after Furi saw the flyer of the restaurant they went to, he immediately got dressed and went to the said place.

Every step is a heaviness in his chest and he feels trembling.

She is almost restless and is puzzled to know the truth behind her boyfriend Matt's secret from her.

As soon as he got into the jeep, he was already anxious and constantly looking at every area they passed.

"Pay it." Said a passenger who rode the jeep with him. Only then did he realize that he hadn't paid yet, so he immediately took out a coin from his shoulder bag and handed it to the jeepney driver.

After a while, he arrived at the place where they walked before and where they were going to the restaurant where they had eaten with Nasher.

Almost every muscle in his body trembled whenever he thought about it. This was the first time that the young man had kept a secret from him, so he was feeling very apprehensive.

When he reached the front of the restaurant, he stopped for a moment and hid to one side. He wore the black face mask over his mouth and also wore a black hat, so that he would not recognize him or be seen.

"Good day ma'ma! Is it for reservation or for dining?" the waitress openly told him.

"Umf, dining room? but just a moment, miss? I'll wait for my companion first. Wait, where is your restroom here?" was all he said as he looked around the restaurant.

"The restroom is over there ma'am, do you want me to join you?" it asked him.

"Oh, no! It's fine, I can do it alone." He refused and went straight inside. As he walked towards the restroom, he looked one by one at everyone he met, including some customers he passed.

Oh, Furi. Maybe you are the one doing this? Can you stand up to everyone if what you suspect about him turns out to be wrong? sailing it in his mind. A few moments later, he suddenly stopped walking when he landed in front of the vip room. Where an event is held, such as a wedding, debut, engagement and so on.

But on that occasion a grand birthday was being celebrated within that vast room.

He seemed curious, especially since some restaurant employees kept coming in and out.

He peeked a little and simply entered the event. No one was watching outside and no one noticed him when he entered.

He almost just stared and was amazed at the breadth and size of that event room. Didn't think it was that big inside. Even the fancy clothes of the people there amazed him.

He just follows each guest who passes in front of him. He watched her from head to toe, back and forth, his eyes widening at what he saw.

Until he didn't realize that he bumped into a waiter. That's why he also dropped the tray he was holding with five wine glasses and it broke on the floor.

All their attention went to him. The people inside seemed surprised and frowned when they saw him.

"Who is she? what is she doing here?"

"Who's that unfamiliar face?"

"How dare she get in here?"

"What's wrong with her?"

"Do you know her?"

The whole event was filled with gossip and judgment. The girl was shocked when she realized that her wine glasses were broken. That's why he immediately picked them up one by one but the waiter who bumped into him just pushed him away and stared at him evilly.

"What's happening here? who's that girl?" said the VIP guest to him or the one who reserved the entire room for their special event, as he pointed at the girl.

Furi seemed unable to speak and just bowed his head.

"Who are you really and how did you get in here?" the waiter asked him.

The girl stood up for a moment and her knees went weak from fear.

"Hey! I'm still talking to you! who are you woman and why did you ruin this special event? are you an celebrity? are you the chairman's daughter? or maybe you're just a lowkey woman who's looking for a businessman to cheat and extort money from?" said the vip guest to him as he observed him, from head to toe. He didn't pay much attention to it and just passed the poor old man, but suddenly he pulled him by the arm and slapped him hard in the face.

Almost everyone was surprised when they witnessed such a scene. Even the waiter he bumped into earlier was shocked and unexpectedly raised his hand.

Tears suddenly began to fall from Furi's eyes without realizing it. He just held his other cheek and looked at the vip guest who slapped him earlier.

A few moments later, the people who raised the restaurant arrived and entered the event room. Manager, supervisor and representative events appeared in front of the girl.

One of them is Matt, the new manager of their restaurant. His first day as a promoted manager had barely begun, but that immediately dawned on him.

Furi was very surprised when he saw his boyfriend and they looked at each other. Even Matt was surprised to see her and he even looked her over from head to toe.

"Clarence, what's the fuss!?" the supervisor was furiously curious about the waiter who bumped into the girl earlier.

"I want you to fire him or else I won't pay for this event." The vip guest who was in front of Furi suddenly said. They quickly turned to what the old man said and even the waiter couldn't believe what he heard.

"But Sir. Matt, it's not my fault that they ruined their event. She!- that woman who suddenly came in here and bumped into me earlier." Clarence said confusedly, as he pointed at Furi.

"Wait a minute, who are you, Miss? And by the way, how did you get in here? Are you invited to this event?" the supervisor was curious about him, but he didn't say a word and just looked at Matt with a big fear on his face.

"Hey, Miss! why don't you speak there? are you dumb? or maybe you just have something wrong with your brain?" Clarence said to him while repeatedly pushing him on the shoulder. Matt just turned to him and his two eyebrows met.

He wanted to defend his bride from shame, but he needed this job more, to provide for his family's needs. He is the only one they expect.

"Sir. Matt, what are we going to do now? the vip guest is requesting that Clarence be fired, but he won't pay for the entire event." Micoh whispered to him, the supervisor of their restaurant.

"Sir, it's like you have mercy. I'm a family man and I'm the only one they expect. Please be fair." Clarence begged her and the girl just bowed her head when she heard.

"What are you doing here in the vip room?" Matt asked suddenly, surprising the girl and raising her head.

"Do you know her?" Micoh whispered to him.

"No." He quickly replied to the young man next to him, while Furi just stared at him with tears falling from his eyes one after another.

He seemed even more hurt by her rejection of him. He thought he was stabbed in the front and back because of what he said.

The young man stepped closer to him while holding both of his hands.

"Miss, I'm asking you. What are you doing here in the vip room? You're probably not deaf, so I'm going to repeat what I'm asking you, right?" he pointed out to the girl but she remained silent and just looked at him.

"Don't make me cry, Miss. That won't work for me. Are you ready to stand up for the special event you ruined? including the life of this family man who depends on it? will you be the one to support his family when he loses his job or you will pay and participate in the expenses of the entire event?" he was curious but the girl just looked away from him and clenched her fists. The young man noticed that immediately and just let out a deep breath.

"Don't be stubborn about it, Miss. What we ask of you is simple. Admit what sin you did. Don't pass your mistake on to other people." He pointed at Furi again and then turned his back on her. Matt approached the vip guest and spoke to him thoroughly. He also apologized to the old man several times and lowered his own pride, for the sake of his family and other people who will be affected by the flattery done by his bride.

A few moments later, he faced the girl again and came closer.

"I've already asked Mrs. Lee, so it's time for you to do your part in the mess you made." The young man just said to him, he turned his back on him and walked out of the vip room. The two followed him and Clarence, while Furi was left there alone.

"I'm sorry.. I'm really really sorry. I didn't mean to ruin your occasion, so I'm sorry." What he repeatedly said on his lips, at the same time the tears flowed from his eyes.

The old man almost let out a deep breath and turned away from him. They resumed the event as if nothing had happened.

While Furi was walking out of the vip room and just bowed his head. His blood was dripping on the floor, because his hand was injured and cut by the broken wine glass.

Everyone who meets him keeps turning and looking at him. Most of them were talking about him and judging him, because of the chaos that happened earlier inside the vip room.

After he left the restaurant, he stopped walking for a moment and turned around again. It seems that she never saw Matt there, nor did he even follow her out of the restaurant.

He just continued walking again while he was still dumbfounded and shocked by what happened.

He stopped walking for a few moments and sat on one side, his whole body still shaking with fear and dread.

Until suddenly it started to rain heavily. He still didn't stand up from his place, so he and the things he was carrying were wet.

She was just resting her head on her arm, when someone approached her man and asked her to kiss him.

The girl seemed to feel as if the rain had stopped suddenly, so she immediately raised her head and was surprised by what she saw.

"Nash!" he stood up in shock, as he just watched her puffy eyes.

"I won't ask any more questions, because I can see that you are not okay." he said as he put his arm around her and hugged her tightly.

Furi was shocked by what he did and he just sank into the young man's chest. He wanted to push her away or drive her away, but he was weak and needed someone to hold on to during those times.

So he just held on to the young man very tightly and burst into tears. Nasher was shocked by her heavy sobbing, but on the other hand, he felt a little joy in his heart when she hugged him tightly.
