Chapter - 4

Bruno and Natalie were staring at Nisha with surprise. She had brought a piece of shocking information from October Villa, finally.

“Moreover, there were also marks of nails and bruises on her body.”

“What are you saying?” Natalie was out of belief.

“Madam, I am telling the truth. When I went to clean the villa, I got a call from Assistant Nolan and he told me that a woman is sleeping in the guest room who is scared and injured. She has to be hospitalized well and the doctor will come to see her. Dresses were also sent for her.”

“Dresses?” Bruno couldn’t help but ask.

“Yes! Expensive dresses. Her clothes were torn.” Nisha replied.

“My goodness.” Natalie covered her mouth with shock.

“Did Ricky do anything wrong with her?” Natalie was impatient.

“She got scared after seeing Young Master’s portrait.”

Natalie looked at Bruno unhappily and Bruno was cold.

“Why didn’t you come and inform us yesterday?” He asked.

Nisha was sent by Bruno and Natalie to keep an eye on Yohan Dixon.

“I am sorry, Sir. I was informed that she would leave yesterday and till then I had to take care of her. But she did not leave and asked me to leave because she wanted to meet Young Master before leaving.”

“Who is that girl?” Natalie could not hold back her impatience and looked at Bruno in panic.

“Madam, she is very young and charming.”

“Although Ricky had arrived here yesterday, he hadn’t informed us about this.” Natalie asked.

“Don’t you know him? He never speaks.” Bruno looked at Nisha coldly, "When did she leave?”

“She won’t leave.”

“What?” It was again a shock for Natalie.

Even Samira Reddy hadn't gone to October villa and Yohan Dixon let a strange woman live in the villa.

“In the morning, when I reached the villa, she had already cooked for Young Master.”

“He never eats at home.” Natalie didn’t believe it.

“Madam, she was sad because he left without having breakfast.”

Bruno and Natalie exchanged their gaze.

“Madam, please save my job.”

“Why? What’s wrong?”

“From now on, she will take care of Young master and the villa and I am fired.”

“Who the hell told you this?”

“Assistant Nolan asked me to come back here.”

“Then go and do work over here.” Bruno was cold and so Nisha did not argue. She quickly left the living room and Natalie became anxious.

“What’s Ricky up to? Is he dating her? Or… Did he force her?”

“Shut your dirty mouth and use your brain.” Bruno turned his gaze at her.

“Ricky must be helping her.” He added.

“Ricky is not a man who does such things.”

Bruno sighed and leaned back on the couch while thinking something serious.

“I know. That’s why, I am curious.” Bruno Dixon could not think of the reasons behind letting the woman stay in the October villa because Yohan Dixon doesn’t like any person when he stays at the villa. He liked to be alone.

The air conditioning cabin was cold and terrific because of his presence. He had been sitting on his revolving chair for a long time. His dark and deep eyes were straight on the documents and his face was calm and cold. His perfectly shaped lips were like a line and his eyelids were shady.

It was one o’clock in the afternoon and he hadn’t taken lunch yet. Just then, he got a call from his secretary and he switched the red button over the receiver.

“President, Miss Scarlette Reddy is here.”

“Hmm.”

The secretary understood his ‘hmm’ and after a while, a beautiful woman dressed in red entered the cabin with a captivating smile.

Yohan Dixon had been standing near the floor-to-ceiling glass wall with his persistent back at her. There was a glass of red wine in his injured palm and the white shirt’s arms were half folded. One of his palms was inside the pocket of the black pants and his diligent aura made the room colder. She came to the table and looked at the most handsome man with her sparkling eyes.

“Mr Dixon.” Her voice was sweet and low and the way she called him was sensual.

“Why are you here?” He was cold as usual. Scarlette Reddy sighed and felt a slight pain in her heart.

“Did you talk to my sister with the same rudeness?”

“You are not She.” His straight answer made her stunned but she smiled sadly.

“She died in a plane crash long ago. Won’t you move on?”

Yohan Dixon looked at his dazzling wristwatch then looked at her with his terrible gaze.

“It’s up to me.” Scarlette Reddy reached and blocked his way when he stepped towards the bar counter. He looked straight into her eyes and she swallowed her emotions. His face was cold and angular, it was unable to hold back her desires. His warm breaths mixed with alcohol and tobacco were falling on her white and charming face.

“Join me for lunch.” She requested and blinked her eyes to seduce him.

“I have something.”

“Mr Dixon.”

She reached her arms to wrap them around his neck and he moved away but the glass of red wine ruined his white shirt.

“Oh. I am sorry.” Scarlette Reddy stepped back while covering her mouth. She was scared truly because it was Yohan Dixon with whom she was messing around. He knocked the glass on the counter, grabbed his blazer then left the cabin quickly.

In the elevator, he put on his blazer and called Assistant Nolan.

“President. The lunch is arranged...”

“I am leaving.”

Assistant Nolan quickly left the work and rushed to the ground floor where he saw Yohan Dixon getting out of the elevator while talking on his cell phone. He could see his ruined white shirt when Yohan Dixon came closer to him.

“President, should I arrange a new shirt for you?”

“No need. I am going to October.”

“But you have an urgent meeting.”

“I will do it in studies.”

He snatched the keys and quickly got into the car. Assistant Nolan looked at the speedy car with a sigh. The president was a dark and typical man whom he could never understand.

The car stopped in front of the villa and Sara Owen raised her head to look at the man who had just gotten out of the car. She was watering the plants on the spacious porch. She straightened her back and smiled at the man but he did not look at her and walked ahead.

“You are here.” She called him back which made him realize her presence and he turned back to look at her as if he has really forgotten that he was not alone in this villa anymore.

“Hmm.” It was his reply. She saw that he was about to turn back so she called him back, “Did you have lunch?”

“No.”

“You haven’t taken breakfast, too. I will prepare it soon.” She kept saying and he turned back and went straight upstairs to the master bedroom.

Sara Owen twitched her mouth and went to the kitchen to cook. Yohan Dixon went to the bathroom to take bath. When he got ready and came downstairs, she has been standing near the stairs while waiting for him.

“Lunch…”

She was about to speak when he stopped and looked at her which made her lower her eyes.

“I have something to do.” His low voice was addictive. She raised her head and kept looking at his back which went inside the study room soon. She sighed looked at the giant watch on the wall.

Wasn’t he hungry?

She was feeling hungry even though she had taken breakfast with Nisha.

The sun was on the head and the day was cloudless. Sara Owen was standing under the roof in the garden while hugging her chest and her eyes were straight on the rabbits that were roaming in the garden happily. They were free and independent.

These white rabbits were like that glowing face, which she did not get tired of seeing. His white and handsome face soothed her heavy heart every day. His silky and brown long hair lying on his forehead used to suit him. To see that face, she used to reach school every morning after finishing all the work, where he would get down from a big car and injure her with an exquisite smile. That smile used to forget the burden of her hard-working life. But now that smile was not there. She herself had strangled that smile mercilessly.

Sara Owen closed her eyes and breathed deeply with her tightened heart. Before two and a half months, she had seen him for the last time. They had met, had talked, had cried and had separated for… Forever. Yes, he did not want to leave her and she was unable to stay beside him because she was going to marry a thirty-two years old man. The man was chosen for her by her father who was going to die soon and she killed her feelings for his father’s last wish.

“Neel, I am sorry.” Her heart screamed and she bit her lips tightly. She turned back and her eyes fell on the tall and handsome man who has been standing in the study room and looking at her while smoking a cigarette. She did not know till when he was standing over there and looking at her from the glass wall but his seductive presence made her hesitant and before she could lower her eyes, he turned back and left.

Did he see her tears?

Sara Owen entered the living room. The man was standing near the table and drinking water.

“Have lunch.” Her suppressed voice reached his ears and he lowered his arm and then looked at her. Sara Owen couldn’t stand his glare and quickly lowered her gaze because he was smelling too erotic.

He noticed wetness on her eyelids.

“Okay.”

“Please come.”

Yohan Dixon noticed her pure smile and looked at her back. He followed her to the dining area and looked at the dining table on which many dishes were arranged for him. He sat on the chair and she began to serve in his bowl and plate. The food was smelling delicious and he was hungry, too. Before holding the spoon, he looked at the beautiful woman who was covering the lids of the bowls gently.

Was she going to stay here when he will eat? Wasn’t it awkward for him?

For a long time, he has been having meals alone. She came behind him and placed the napkin beside his left arm and he smelled the sweet fragrance of her silky and long hair.

“I will help myself.” He said while looking at the dish in front of him.

Sara Owen bit her lips and lowered her gaze.

“I won’t disturb you.”

He could not ask her leave when her low and sweet words entered his ears. He kept eating. She dared to raise her head and peek at the back of his head.

Wasn’t the man strange?

She had heard about him a lot.

He was a ruthless, domineering, hazardous and merciless man.

She sighed and remembered that night when he almost made that man breathless only with a punch even if he was deeply drunk. Her eyes stopped at his white and long fingers. That night, this fist became bloody and the scar was still over there.

Is his fist such strong? Isn’t it delicate?

As soon as he wiped his mouth and stood up, she lowered her head. He left without speaking anything because he was deeply happy with the taste of the food.

Sara Owen looked at the leftover on the plate. She sat on the chair and kept eating it.
