ANGELINA -

I woke up to loud screaming. My eyelids felt heavy against my eyeballs and I struggled to open them. The pulse near my head throbbed painfully. I heard Ace shouting something and finally, I opened my eyes. The man, who was friends with Ace, was saying something. I saw Ace breathing fast, the man was telling him to calm down.

A loud groan escaped my mouth and both the heads snapped at me.

"The bitch's awake," Ace snickered.

"Oh thank god," the man sighed and got up. He brought a bottle towards my mouth and I moved my head aside. I wasn't drinking whatever this man was forcefully shoving.

"It's just water," he grumbled, "Drink!"

This time he took my jaw between his fingers and tilted the bottle. I wasn't going to drink it but as soon as it hit my throat, I gladly welcomed the water.

Once he was done, he pulled away from the bottle and checked my jaw. The cuts along my cheek stung when he dabbed his fingers in it. I shut my eyes and hissed in pain.

"Christ," he swore and pulle
