"Who's blood is that?" I stuttered out. "I'm not sure. I just needed you to be the first to know that we did find a body out of the borders. There wasn't much left. Our pathologist has the body now and I told him that it was the priority. I'll know the second that he knows who it is." Alpha Asher says to me. I felt the room spinning and my knees gave out from under me and Alpha Asher caught me before I hit the floor and he carried me over to the couch. The same sparks ignited wherever he touched me. But I couldn't concentrate on them right now. "We don't know that it's her." Alpha Asher tried to assure me. But all I felt was numb. Like my world was over. And I couldn't even think about it, let alone put a sentence together. So Alpha Asher just stayed there with me on the couch not saying anything. I wouldn't call it a comfortable silence, but it didn't bother me and I wasn't too focused on trying to find what to say to him while he was there with me. "How long until you find out?

"Oh my god." Alpha Asher muttered to himself. "Jeremiah Jameson." I say as tears roll down my face. "What?" He asked. "That man is Jeremiah Jameson. He's Jackson's Beta. The tattoo on his neck. I'm going to take this photo to our tech people and see if they can try and pull anything off of it. Maybe there's something in the background or a reflection or something that might tell us where she is." Alpha Asher says. "Okay." I say. "Are you going to the hospital?" He asked. "Yeah. 'Asher.' I screamed through the link. But there was still no response. Why was he blocking me out? I didn't understand why he would just disappear on me like that. "No one is coming to save you. Your precious little Alpha has been put down." Jeremiah says and I let out a whine at hearing that. "Relax. He's not dead. Just enough wolfsbane to keep him knocking out for a few hours." Jeremiah says. ‘Sawyer. Declan. Bentley.' I screamed through the mindlink. 'I'm trapped. They've knocked out the Alpha.' I panicked. "What is the poor little wolf going to do? She's trapped and helpless. Just like your mother was when I caught her." Jeremiah announced. And I let out a vicious growl baring my teeth. I was ready to rip his head off for that. "Don't be like that. We can all get along if you would just calm down. Otherwise we will have to knock you out as well." He says and I see the man holding the dart gun. I couldn't even get my teeth around the netting to try and chew myself out of it.

I was on the floor crying. No matter what I did I couldn't stop. I was shaking, I was hysterical. There was nothing anyone could do for me. One of the guards brought that women out of his office who said that they should get rid of me and Alpha Asher growled when he saw her. "Just take her to the cell for now. I don't have time to deal with her." He ordered. So the guard took her towards the basement stairs. Cole and Asher helped me up and they took me to my room but that didn't help any. I still couldn't calm down. I could tell that they were mind linking each other because they couldn't talk freely about this in front of me, but neither of them would leave my side. My phone started ringing and Asher grabbed it and noticed the number as the same prank phone call that had been calling me. "Listen to me, you son of a bitch. You already killed her mother, leave her the f**k alone or I will find you and rip your f**king throat out." Alpha Asher yelled into the phone before he hun

IVY POV Waking up to Beau being in my room was definitely a shock, but Asher dragging him out of the room was even more of a shock. I didn't know what their problem was but I had never seen them together before. Maybe they had always been like that. So I stayed in my room while they went to go and talk and I sat in bed looking out the window with my knees up to my chest trying not to think about what my mother went through before she died. But it was really hard not to when I received that photo and her finger in the mail. Jackson was definitely losing it. I knew that he was weird but he was just unhinged now. I finally got up and I walked to the bathroom to have a shower and I got dressed into a baggy shirt and jeans. I walked out of my room and downstairs where I saw Beau sitting in the living room with his family. "Honey. Are you okay? Are you hungry or anything?" Elsie asked. "No thanks. ASHER POV "Why the hell would he take out the werewolf council?" I asked. "So that he can do whatever he wants with no one stopping him." I say. "Werewolves aren't going to be happy about that." I say. "Beau told me that he's been recruiting. He's gathering an army. He's taken out Alpha's of little packs and then taking over their packs." Dad explained. That's everything that Beau was telling him. "How big has he gotten his pack so far?" I asked him. "I'm not sure. No one is. He has then scattered everywhere. But they are too scared to go against him." Dad says. "We need to do our own recruiting." Ivy says. "What?" I asked. "Pretty soon his pack will be bigger than this one. And there is no way in hell that we can allow that to happen. If he becomes bigger than us then we are as good as dead. At least most of us will. The rest will be treated as slaves." I say. And I saw Cole put his arm around Olivia worried about what was going to happen to her. "How do we do that?"
