CHAPTER 26

ASHER POV

I insisted that Ivy be moved straight to a room that was private and she was hooked up to every machine that she needed to be on, she was hooked up to an IV and a blood bag but she was just lying there. Comepletely lifeless. Like she wasn't even there anymore.

All I kept wondering was, where the hell is she? Where is she right now? This wasn't the Ivy that I know. Not lying here. She was a fighter. She wasn't going to let someone like this stop her. She was so much stronger than this.

IVY POV

I am standing in the middle of a town that was nothing but rubble and debri lying around everywhere. There was nothing left of the town. The buildings were half destroyed, cars overturned, small fires everywhere. Someone you would see in a post apocolyptic movie or something.

I stood there looking around at the bodies that litter the ground. Human bodies. They were innocents. The victims of Jackson.

" He isn't going to stop. Not any time soon." A voice says
