Hi there readers. I just want to thank you for all your support and loyalty while completing this book. Without any of you this wouldn't be possible. Thank you so much.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA " Regan. Where are you you little bitch?" My drunken mother called from downstairs of our crappy little dilapidated house. " What mom?" I asked opening my bedroom door. " What the hell are you doing in there?" She asked. " My homework. What else?" I asked. " I want something to eat." She demanded. " Then make something to eat. I'm not your fucking slave." I yelled slamming the door and locking it again. " What would your mother do if she knew that I was in here with you?" My boyfriend Noah asked as I sat back on the bed next to him. " Who the hell cares? She won't remember it tomorrow anyway." I say leaning forward and kissing him. I put my hands on his chest and pushing him onto his back and laying on top of him while I was kissing him. My hand started trailing up the inside of his shirt and he grabbed my top and pulled it over my head and he leaned up and started kissing me again while I was unbluckling his jeans. Then someone started bashing on
I watched in silent amazement watching the pitch black wolf and the white wolf run off into the woods together, towards the sounds of people running towards us. I couldn't sit back. I needed to get closer. I followed behind them. I tried to run, but it was really hard. It was hard trying to find my footing. They made it look so graceful but I guess, they'd had a lot more practice than I had. I finally caught up to them and there were wolves fighting humans. But they weren't humans. They were strong. Their faces were distorted. They were vampires. The wolves weren't afraid. They ran into it head on and attacked anyone that got in their way. I suddenly started getting this pain in my stomach again and I yelped. I didn't know where that came from, but I did. I yelped in pain and I felt my bones breaking again and suddenly I was back in human form. But I was standing there completely naked and exposed. I hid my body around a tree but I kept looking out to see the fight that was un
I woke up the next morning in the same suite of that hotel but in the spare bedroom and I looked around confused at first. But then I started remembering the events of last night. Everything that I was told. About my family, about my old pack, what my mother had done. And that I was with Ivy and Asher Silverton. I think that last part is the one that I couldn't get my head around. I got out of bed slowly and walked towards the door and into the suite and I saw Asher sitting at the table reading something on his phone. " Hi. I hope you're hungry. I ordered extra room service. I wasn't sure what you liked to eat." Asher says putting his phone down. " I like anything really." I say and I go to sit down at the table. I look around and realize that we're in this suite completely alone. " Ivy's gone on her morning jog. She does it every morning." Asher says without me needing to ask. I guess I looked a little uncomfortable sitting here alone with him. " What time is it?" I asked.
We were stopped in the middle of the highway with three vampires on the road blocking our path and we saw more figures emerging from the woods surrounding us. I squeezed Noah's hand really tight and I saw Ivy and Asher in the front seat and besides looking at each other, they barely flinched. " Stay in the car." Asher told us. And we weren't planning on going anywhere. Asher and Ivy both got out of the car casually and looked at the men in front of them and the ones around us. They didn't seem fazed by these vampires at all. I couldn't believe it. How could they just be standing there so calm. The vampires starting closing in and then there was a thunderous growl from all around us, in synchronicity and wolves started emerging from the woods behind the vampires. Suddenly I heard tearing and bones breaking and Asher and Ivy both shifted into their wolves. They looked at each other in that form and because they were on different sides of the car, they nodded to each other and th
When we landed at the airport we had to get into more cars that were waiting for us but it was just a short drive to the Blue Moon Pack. I heard that's what they called themselves. " Oh my god. I knew that you owned a large pack, But I never imagined it would be anything like this." Noah says looking out the window. We saw people around everywhere. The town was bigger than his pack town. And as we kept driving we saw three different training grounds with hundreds of warriors training in each other them. Noah was amazed but I was a little terrified. I didn't know what to think. " It's good to be home." Ivy says from the front seat of the car. " Tell me about it. I hope my brothers haven't set fire to anything while we were away." Asher says. " I don't think your brothers are the ones that we need to worry about anymore. I hope the kids didn't set fire to anything while we were away." Ivy says. " Oh yeah. I forgot about them." Asher says. And Ivy hit him in the chest. " I'
It was clear that we weren't starting school today because school was cancelled. Too many people were concerned about the safety of their children. Apparently this pack has met day walking vampires and didn't want to risk it in case any might be on the land. So we just sat around the packhouse and I was lost in thought for most of the morning while we were sitting in the living room and I saw the kids running around everywhere. All of the kids. Quinn and Patrick included. They really did look like they had ADHD but they were just werewolf kids when Ivy came into the room and their kids ran over and jumped on Ivy. " Regan. The meeting is happening tonight. He insisted that you be there. But there will be a lot of protection so they won't be able to try anything while you're here." Ivy explained. " Where will the meeting take place?" Noah asked. " At the boarder." Ivy replied. " Outside? Really?" I asked nervously. " Trust me. You'll be alright. We will have warriors surro
That night I didn't get very much sleep at all. I was tossing and turning all night until I finally got up and I went downstairs to the kitchen to get a drink. That's where I bumped into Ivy. She was down there giving the baby a bottle. " I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt." I say. " What are you talking about? It's the middle of the night. I welcome the intrusion at this time of night." She says. And I chuckle. " I just came to get a drink. I can't sleep." I say getting a bottle of water out of the fridge and I sat at the kitchen island next to her. " I can imagine. Tonight was pretty massive for you, wasn't it?" She asked. " Yeah. It was." I say. " I know that things haven't been easy for you. I get that. I know exactly how that is. I grew up knowing my father but I didn't actually know that he was my father. He was the Alpha of my old pack and he raped my mother when she was 14. She got pregnant with me and she was shunned by the whole pack. He ordered the pack to ha
The whole walk back to the packhouse was quiet. No one talked but I was fully aware of how close Ivy and Asher were behind me. They were angry with me. I knew that they were angry with me. I should have told them the truth from the start but I didn't think I had any choice. I had to keep it to myself. Noah was in danger. When we got to the packhouse I noticed that the living room light was on and when I walked inside Noah ran over to me and hugged me. " What the fuck do you think you were doing?" Noah snapped at me while still hugging me. I could actually feel how angry he was. And he was letting me know. That was a lot better than Ivy and Asher. They weren't yelling or screaming or punishing me. They were just quiet. It was really nerve wracking. I knew that they would never trust me again. They didn't have a reason to. I kept a huge secret from them and they needed to know the truth about vampires coming back to their territory. But I thought I would be leaving with them and
