Chapter 42: Act

Phyllis went out of the ladies' room feeling dazed. She was spacing out and completely out of it.

Katie, her ultimate girl group idol, knows her secret.

And she did not know how to react to it.

As far as she knows, the people who attended their wedding are their family's closest friends. Aside from Zacharias' co-members and manager, no one else from their industry attended the event.

'Is it Ryder? Did he tell her?'

She couldn't digest the idea that the stoic Ryder would divulge this sensitive information nonchalantly.

“Lis?” her best friend called her out.

Her mind wandered off so much that she did not notice her best friend that she was talking to over a video call.

She hurriedly composed herself in front of Rui. Though she may look normal to the people around her right now, her smallest actions won't escape Rui's observation.

“Auntie is just tired, mommy.” Eon reasoned on behalf of Phyllis.

Rui's brows slightly arched as she looked at her suspicious friend curiousl
