My jaw dropped. Future Luna?

Whenever someone spoke about a Luna, I imagined a graceful lady with long hair cascading down her slender back, wearing an Athena dress and guiding her pack like a goddess. Well, to be honest, I had never seen a Luna before. It was always the Alphas with their betas and gammas.

Many had mentioned, since time, that a Luna was meant to stay indoors and take care of the pack like a mother nursing her child. She had the nurturing duties while the males did the fighting, ruling around and all. So, to sum it all up, I would be the mother of the Blood Moon Pack and do what? Teach them how to be lazy?

I shook my head, “I don’t think I will be good as one,” I said and looked up at him.

He clicked his tongue derisively, “That is true, indeed. You won’t be.” I bit my tongue. Even when what he said was true and totally something I agreed with, it pricked. I did not require him to be that honest.
