“No,” Dominic said, his word clear and straight. “Tell your monkeys to move the car to the side and stop following us. Or else the consequences won’t be pleasant.”

Natalie stared back at Dominic with a look that was hard for me to read. Her eyes looked so fragile, devoid of life. I wondered what happened to her that she was in this condition.

“It won’t take much time, I promise,” her voice was soft and my brows furrowed. What was she trying to get at?

“Why are you even following us?” I asked and she slowly looked towards me.

“I want to know where you kept Sam.”

Huh?

Dominic raised a brow while I was beyond confused. She joined her hands in front of me, “Please, let him go. I’ll do whatever you ask me to.”

I opened my mouth but then Dominic spoke before me, “When was the last time you saw him?”

She blinked thoughtfully, “I think two weeks ago.”

Dominic’s gaze hardened on her, “So you have been keeping contact with him when you know that he is shunned from the pack.”

Natalie bit her low
