“I love young couples attending ceremonies. You both look so good,” Aisel said in a cheerful tone and Dominic walked past him, tugging me along as if not interested in his ridiculous banter. There were five SUV parked in front the mansion and Aisel pointed towards the gray one in the middle.

One of the men held out the door for us and I stepped in first. Dominic got inside like he owned the cars and not Aisel. We held each others hands while the car started and Aisel sat on the passenger seat.

“Are you both comfortable? Anything you need?” he asked.

“Yes, your dead body below the heel of my shoe,” Dominic retorted.

“Wonderful.” Aisel turned back to look at the front and I looked out at the street lamps illuminating the dark road. The weather was extremely cold but the windows were rolled up so I didn’t need to put on the extra coat I brought.
