EPILOGUE (PART-1)

DOMINIC’S POV

Avery slowly sat on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck. She looked nervous.

“And smells different.” Asphalt added.

I frowned and pulled her closer to me, sniffing her neck. She had a soft tint of rose on her cheeks while I sniffed her. She indeed smelt different. It was not a perfume, it was her natural scent mixed with something…strange.

“Dom, what are you doing?” she asked, the nervousness not lifting from her face. I could hear her heartbeat pacing, feeling her stress crawl through my skin. As mates, we could feel each other’s emotions.

But why was she so nervous?

“Did any of those bitches stir any problem in the coven?” I asked, my face hardened. Avery ran her own coven with thousands of witches under it. Some of them were not very trustworthy, so I always stayed alert.

She shook her head and my frown deepened. Then what was the problem?

Sean walked in and bowed his head, “Luna, two wolves have initiated a brawl in the fighting grounds and it is hard to stop
