Chapter Thirteen

"And that's how you do it." Marvin finished explaining.

He looked at Marjorie and saw that she has a serious face on and thought that she understood everything when all of the sudden, she smiled sheepishly.

"Uhh, can you please explain again? I lost you on the pawn part." She said and Marvin's face turned straight.

The pawn part that Marjorie was talking about was the first piece that he introduced.

"No." He replied almost immediately while standing up and turning to leave. "I'm a faster learner, she says."

"You weren't really clear on explaining them! I'll just ask Charlie next time I see him..." Marjorie whispered the last sentence but Marvin still heard it.

"Do whatever you want." He mumbled as he closed the door behind him and locked it.

When he turned around, he got frightened a little when he saw Charlie standing in front of him.

As an Alpha, he should have known that he was there but judging by his actions Charlie gave him a questioning look. Marvin quickly cleared his throat
