I continued eating my food then Michael came downstairs and walked to the living room.

I finished eating my food then I went to the living room. Micheal was watching a movie then I sat down on the couch opposite him.

"So how was the meeting?" I asked.

"It went fine" he simply replied and we continued watching the movie.
