23. Her first love

My eyes flew open and I jolted up with a sharp gasp for air. I was back in my body.

It felt like I had fallen from the sky.

My spontaneous movement didn't go unnoticed as both Cory and my mates snapped their gaze to mine.

"Finally you are awake!" Aklyn almost leaped for joy.

"Get her. Now!" Cory gritted his teeth towards the horrible looking creatures that lurked around us.

"You will have to get through us first" Nelyx made it known to Cory, his midnight wings breaking out of his back.

The commotion began again as both Nelyx and Aklyn fought to protect me but something stirred within me as I gazed at it all.

With a fluid movement, I sprinted towards Cory, catching him off guard and pinning his arm in a very painful position.

"The hell!" Cory yelled, bewildered.

I could sense how impressed my mates were. Right now , I can't concentrate on anything else than Cory's shocked orbs which bore into mine.

I immedetialy used my knee and kicked him in the groins. "To hell
