CHAPTER FORTY NINE

The tension in the room boiled Salvetti's blood.

He had hoped that Lanaya would be sound asleep or occupied watching a movie with his obnoxious sister when he went to the club to do some private work. Only two hours later did the club's bouncer need to call Parker, who whispered to Andrew, who told everyone in the club that Lanaya had arrived.
