Shipment

Chapter 3

" I don't care how you do it, Josh makes sure the drugs leave the warehouse tonight." A man's deep thick voice was heard in a dark room with only a glint of light coming into the house through the one-sided window that was opened.

"Boss.. that's not possible. It's late and the bureaus are taking a walk around the other shore." A shaky voice was heard from the other line.

"Are you defying my orders, Josh?" He asked his forehead knitting to a frown.

"Huh? Never Sir. I can never do that."

"But what if... We don't get the goods back and it's taken by the bureau?" The shaky voice was heard again.

"Then make sure they don't take it... Do it now." The deep voice came again.

The call was cut off.

He heaved a deep breath and walked towards the light.

He covered the room preventing any further light from entering.

His phone rang and he picked it up.

"Hey, Brian." The other person yelled.

"Stop yelling when Calling me Wilson. What is it?" He asked.

"Did you get it back? The Money?" The other asked.

"No. But I gave them time."

"Two days," Brian said flatly.

"Damn! The Devil himself. How the hell are they going to make Five Million Dollars in two days?" Came the voice again.

"Shut up Wilson... Unless you don't like your tongue."

"Ohh.. sorry Boss. About the club? Are you coming to see it, Brian?" Wilson asked.

"Hmm... Yes." Brian answered, heaving a deep breath.

"Having those migraines?" Wilson asked.

"Mind your business, Wilson...I might mind it for you nowadays." Brian mumbled and cut the call.

A knock came on the door and he walked towards the door.

He stepped out of the room and turned to his Personal Guard.

"Tell them to prepare the Company's Wallpaper. Tod."

"Good morning Mr. Brian." The whole board stood up and greeted.

His face bore no expression as he took his seat as the CEO.

"Go on." He muttered, and the manager rushed towards the huge TV display.

"Sir... about the task behind..."

"Was it rescheduled or Cancelled?" He asked, with a raised brow.

"It was Uhm, Sir due to the time wasted and the time used in carrying out the..."

"Was it rescheduled or Cancelled?" He asked again, cutting the speaker short.

"It was Cancelled Sir because...."

"You're Fired. Get me a New Manager." He said and turned to Tod.

"Do it now." He said, and the man near him nodded.

"Right away Boss."

Ph... The whole room was dead silent, even a pin drop could be heard.

"What else?" He asked, looking around.

"Nothing Sir," Tod replied, taking a look at his Schedule.

"Then... Dismiss." He said and stood up leaving them.

"Get me a New Manager Tod, and reschedule that meeting with those people. They must invest here," He said, and Tod nodded.

He wanted nothing but perfection, and he'd see to it.

"Where else do I need to be Tod?"He asked as they both got into the elevator.

"The cuisine is going well Boss...and they...."

"What about the clubs?" Brian asked as he stepped out of his office.

He walked into his office which was on the top floor.

"About the club... there has been a little problem with Renee's." Tod said, twitching his lips.

"What?" His eyes suddenly darkened, as he looked up.

His dark Aura blazed and Tod knew there was Trouble in Paradise if he didn't choose his words wisely.

"Mr. Matthew and his gangs came around. Did some small damages and thousands were lost." He explained and sighed.

"Okay." Brain answered, and continued with his business.

Huh? That was it? Just Okay?

He looked up to know if he was talking to Brian Maxwell.

The man in front of him looked like an angered monster. Tod watched him pick up his phone and dialed a number.

"Find me Matthew Hawkins and His gang...and bring them to the chain House Now!!!" He ordered and cut the call.

"What else?" He asked.

"hmm... Tch!" Tod sighed, scratching his head.

"Nothing else Boss," Tod answered, heaving a deep breath.

"Okay then... Leave." He commanded and took out a file.

He glanced at the file in his hands and chuckled.

This was the contract that was signed when Five Million Dollars was borrowed from him to Peter.

He remembered the days he had given them.

He picked up his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, boss" A voice was heard from the other line.

"When it's Two days... like I told them. Go bring them back to that room." He ordered.

"Okay, Sir," Chris answered as he hung up.

Five Million Dollars wouldn't go just like that. Right?

He would make sure to work it out of His family's body

Next time.. even in his next life.

He wouldn't gamble with anybody's money again. Brian thought and smirked.

"That he was sure!!"

Hours passed and the ticking clock didn't stop ticking.

Brian sat up on the chair, pressing the button close by on his table, to see the chair move back to its normal to stand.

The office was dark... as if it was still midnight but it wasn't. That was how he liked it.

This was morning. And the light of morning was shining brightly outside.

He stood up from the chair and walked to the restroom that was just around the corner.

Today was the countdown for the Five Million Dollars!!

Somehow, unlike him, He had that in mind!
