040 - A Beta's Fate, An Alpha's Destiny

As soon as we received the news that the man we were looking for had already been found, we prepared for our journey down south. It would take us five hours to get there, but it was nothing if we would be able to get answers for Darvin.

Lucas, Darvin, and I decided to go alone without any warriors with us. Three Alphas would be enough to protect each other, and we wanted to make sure our second and third in command, together with the best warriors, would be guarding our Lunas and our pack.

Darvin was quiet the whole time. But he slipped up one time that he was wondering if the cure was illegal or harmful. He felt something was wrong because this man needed to be under the radar. So that’s what we were eager to find out.

I hope he was wrong, and I hope we didn’t need to harm anyone for the cure.
