Here's for today ♡ Don't forget to drop some lovely gems for our two Alphas ♡
SOFIA. Celeste and I stood on the grounds outside the council building while waiting for our Alphas to finish their meeting with Alpha Marco, the head of the Council. They submitted the document to formally add Dominic as the Alpha of the Moon Stone Pack, and Celeste and I decided to tag along. After Achilles was killed and his group of rogue wolves was disbanded, there were no more threats, so they were confident enough to take us with them, but of course, we were never left behind on our own. Watching us from just a few feet away were Beta Daniel and some of the men we took with us. "Wow! I wasn’t expecting to see you here today. Lucky me." Someone spoke behind me, and it made me and Celeste turn around. "Excuse me, are you speaking with us?" I asked as my gaze tried to remember if I met the man with amber eyes before. But I couldn’t remember him at all. Either I had never met him or he wasn’t really worth remembering. He laid out his hand, and I was sure he was meaning to take
DARVIN. I was in my office, and I had Dominic, Beta Daniel, and Gamma Hayden with me. We were talking about the new setup we had, as well as the possibility of getting a new beta and gamma. One for each Alpha. "Do we really need to choose?" Daniel asked before his gaze shifted to Hayden, who let out a sigh. "Well, we want both of you, but whoever you’re most comfortable with." "Well, I want both of you as my Alpha." "Me too," Hayden added. "Can’t you have the same Beta and Gamma so we don’t have to choose?" "It will be a lot of work for you both. There will be days that Darvin and I will not meet eye to eye, so it might be tedious. That’s what we were thinking." Dominic explained. "I can handle that," Daniel smirked. "How about we try first? I’m sure we’re not rushing to get a new one. Not that we don’t want another male to rise through the ranks, but Hayden and I have never had a problem with having two Alphas." "We still have one territory, one group of warriors. We just have
BETA DANIEL. "Give me some slack. I’m only nineteen. I have years ahead of me before I need to settle down." I chuckled as I walked side by side with the three Alphas and Gamma Hayden. We had just finished a short meeting and were heading off to the training grounds to continue a day’s work, but the Alphas still wouldn’t stop teasing me to man up and ask Lizzie for a date. "Well, with two Alphas to work with, I’m sure you would rather have a female to come home to every night." Alpha Lucas stated before he jabbed Hayden’s chest with the back of his hand. "You as well, go find someone." "Nope," Hayden answered right away. "I’m okay here. "I'm waiting for my mate unless Dr. Lizzie turns out to be a hot chick, in which case... I might reconsider." I would have growled at him in annoyance if something hadn’t hit my nose. The air suddenly smelled of fresh-baked waffles mixed with strawberries, and I found myself hungry and salivating. I spaced out for a moment until my wolf howled in
LUNA NADIA’S LUNA CEREMONY - SILVER MOON PACK CELESTE. "Are you okay?" Darvin reached for my hand and squeezed it gently as he stared at me. He just turned off the engine of his car, and we remained seated inside. We were outside the ballroom where Nadia would be inducted as the Luna of the Silver Moon Pack. And it meant I would be meeting all the Alphas and Lunas invited to the event. Katarina and Sofia assured me that there was nothing to be nervous about when I met the rest of the Lunas on Darvin’s Alpha Circle. They kept saying they were wonderful Lunas and would welcome me wholeheartedly. Sofia told me the first time she met them, she was just Dominic’s girlfriend, but they never made her feel inferior with the fact that they were all fated Lunas and she was just a 'chosen' one. It made me believe they were really welcoming and wonderful, but I still couldn’t stop my heart from thumping loudly. I am human. Maybe they would see me differently. But aside from my sisters-i
CELESTE. After all the Lunas introduced themselves, as well as their Beta and Gamma Females that were present, Darvin and Sebastian left. They went to where the rest of the Alphas were, and I was left with the rest of the females. None of them asked about Darvin’s condition or about him feeding on me. Either they had no idea or they respected our privacy over the matter. They inquired about my mate bond with Darvin. They asked how our first date went and how Darvin told me he was a shifter. And if there was a moment when I wanted to run away when I found out, but I corrected them and told them I was actually the one who told Darvin I knew he was a shifter, and it was Darvin who ended up shocked, and we all had a good laugh about it. If I had any inhibitions that the Lunas would look down on me because I was simply human, they were all gone by the time we ate up all the ice cream available in Nadia’s fridge. I was never treated differently. I felt welcomed. I felt like I belonged ri
CELESTE. I laughed softly as Darvin twirled me around, my dress and hair flowing beautifully in the air before he caught me with his strong arms and placed a soft peck on my lips. "Did I tell you that you’re the most beautiful female here tonight?" He asked, a playful grin on his face. I giggled softly before I answered. "Yes, about a hundred times already. I am starting to believe you were up to no good." "Me? Up to no good? I’m always a good boy... The only time I’m dangerous and wild," he said, pushing me gently away from his arms and twirling my body around before pulling me back, our faces just inches away from each other. "... is when my mate is spread out naked in front of me, waiting for me to ravish her." My eyes widened as I pressed a kiss on his lips, wanting him to stop saying more. Even though I liked it when he teased me, I knew that werewolves have such great hearing that I often wondered if they could hear me when I whisper or I fart quietly. "Enough. First, you’r
CELESTE.Darvin was checked out at the Silver Moon Infirmary, but after Glenn confirmed that all of Darvin's vital signs were stable, he asked that Darvin be moved to our hospital because all of Darvin’s records and the tools he was using to check on him were in his special suite.I didn’t even know about this. I got so lost in the moment of falling in love with him that I didn’t even check how he was dealing with his sickness and all the tests and laboratories he had to go through.Maybe because he was Darvin. He would simply not allow anyone to see him weak or know he was suffering. He would always put on a good show.I wondered if my blood was helping him. Or maybe he just wanted me to believe it did.He drank every two weeks, which was too far and too little in comparison to Constantine, who fed on his mate every two to three days.I leaned my back on the chair in which I was seated as I stared at Darvin’s sleeping form on the bed across the room. I had just eaten. I didn’t have a
SOFIA. I knew I shouldn’t have come unannounced, but my eagerness to see Darvin awake with my own eyes made me forget that he was now mated and might need privacy. But I was glad he and Celeste didn’t make a big fuss about it. Celeste had been wonderful — just as wonderful as she was last night. I still couldn’t help remembering how I stayed frozen for most of the time while Darvin was having an attack, while Celeste was in full action. It felt like I was witnessing something straight out of a movie—something I never thought I would get to experience. I was scared. Terrified. I thought that was it. I didn’t even get to say my goodbyes to Darvin and Titan. That was why I left what I was doing and rushed to see him the moment I found out he woke up. Glenn told me last night that he sent the thing that Titan vomited to be checked. He was under the impression that it was the same clotting he saw in Titan’s body. And we were all hopeful, that, like a tumor, having it out of Titan’s body
