Chapter Thirty-Five

Lorenzo hadn't come home in three days, I don't know where he is, I don't know how he is. If he died or something. I have no way to contact anyone on the outside.

I stood in front of the front door, trying to look outside the gates. The security lasers were on, so there was no way I could anywhere. I was trapped in the mansion, a prisoner in this gilded cage. I had nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. I was completely at his mercy. If he doesn't come back, I don't know what I'll do.

I went back inside and started cooking dinner, I have been making breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two every single day. I hoped that tonight the dinner won't go to waste and Lorenzo actually shows up.

My breath got caught somewhere in my chest as I remembered the last night we spent together, how he had taken my mouth savagely without any concern for my poor throat.
