Killian signaled the spy closer to him to tell the others to return to base. Then he ran after Kimberly.

“Why am I always so unlucky.” Kimberly cursed herself and squatted on the floor, she was too weak to continue running. She hit herself several times and sobbed.

“Hitting yourself will change nothing you’re just going to hurt your skin.” Killian said to her while standing in front of her. Kimberly raised her head slowly and saw Killian.

“What are you doing here?” Kimberly asked looking unhappy.

“I’m here to take you back home.”

“I have no home.” Kimberly replied almost immediately. A soft smile escaped Killian lips when he heard what Kimberly said.

“Really?” Kimberly nodded her head.

“Just leave me alone, after all you don’t believe me.” Killian realized from the way she was on the floor it’s obvious she’s too weak to continue running.
