Chapter 60

As Alexa and Leo both lie down quietly, Alexa couldn't help, but wonder what exactly her husband is thinking about. He was in deep thought. Like his mind traveled him to a faraway land.

She rested on her side, her hand on him with her head in the crook of his neck. "You're now acting like me. Thinking too much."

"Your stomach is poking me, and I'm not comfortable with this position," Leo said truthfully, causing her to frown.

He turned her back to her old position and rested on his side looking at her pouted face while caressing her side. "I know you've been annoyed by me..."

Alexa looked at him. "You shouldn't mind me honestly. I'm just being childish."

Leo nodded. "I'm glad you know."

Alexa sighed. "I'm pretty sure you know thanksgiving is coming up soon. We're not gonna be staying home all through right?"

"We are. It's cold, and dangerous outside."

Alexa's eyes drooped. "But Leo..."
