I didn’t move from my place when I noticed it.
Yep, that’s a camera alright.
I looked down nervously. Now that I’m aware there’s a camera here I don’t know how to react or what to do.
Do I dance now?
Sheesh! Why not?
I stood up and did a beautiful ‘kermit the frog’ dance but then in between my awesome display of moves I realized how stupid I was being and stopped.
For a few seconds I stood still in the middle of the room looking like a clown and then went and sat down on the same couch I was sitting on before in utter despair

His brother? Perhaps his cousin?

You raise your hands!”I placed my hand on the gun, “Emilio, I think I’ve told you not to play with guns.”He pouted but didn’t lower the weapon, “But grandma said it was fine.” He kept his grip on it and I glared at him. The moment he saw that he immediately released his grip on the machine and let it go.

>>HazelAs we arrived back home I decided to head straight to my room after coming out of the car while Valek on the other hand decided to stay seated in the car.He sat there with a busy expression and I knew something was on his mind but I didn’t want to ask what. He seemed really upset and maybe even angry...I guess he really does hate his family or maybe it’s something else too.Maybe I should ask but then again, I want some time to sort out my thoughts.Emilio and I walked to the front porch of the house and I stopped to look back at the car but couldn’t really see what was happening inside since the windows were tinted pretty dark.

>>HazelIn the evening Emilio and I sat in the second floor lounge watching an animated movie.It was apparently one of Emilio’s favorites and I was quite surprised because I didn't think his favorite animated movie would be Mulan.I’m not judging, I love Mulan too, especially the songs in it. My all time favorite being, ‘I’ll make a man out of you’.It’s just that usually boys his age prefer watching cars or maybe toy-story but he loves a disney princess.I smiled.Well, Mulan is a badass unlike the other older princesses and well, there’s Shang too. My childhood crush.

>>HazelBlood dripped down the butcher’s hook in silence.The movement was slow, the red liquid slid down till the U-shaped hook, hung there for a while in preparation for the jump, then fell to join the puddle on the floor, making a soundless ripple in it.Valek turned his head in my direction and his void expressions showed a bit of surprise when he saw me standing there at the door frame.He sat with his knees parallel to his chest, arms warped around them with one hand holding a butcher's knife.The room had a strange odd smell to it, it was like the room was a secret place that was often used for something like this.
