The boring economics class made her sleep straight for two hours and she took a good nap before retiring to her break. Nancy stood outside her class, waiting for her. "Where have you been? You didn't even answer my calls!" She complained as they both made their way outside the department. "Please don't ask me this, I just want some coffee and juice" she told her as she rubbed her eyes and stretched her arms to wave off the sleepiness off her body. "Why your eyes are half closed? Stacy watched both of them with stunned expressions. Bernard Anworth stood there calmly as Veronica got bandaged by the doctor. While Veronica couldn't even lift her eyes up with shame. She was thinking about the board sign outside the gate. He would have read it "no men allowed inside the hostel premises" yet he ignored it as if it was not even there. She was now waiting for him to leave after she was all good and back in her hostel but he didn't budge. She took the trolley from him and got on to the elevator instantly. Pressing the floor number 50, she waited for the elevator to reach the respective floor so she can deliver the order as soon as possible and come back because her instincts tell her otherwise. Now she knew why her manager wanted to give her bonus for just delivering that damn food up to the penthouse because it belonged to Bernard Anworth. She completed her shift and packed her bag to go home. She was really mad at her manager for trapping her into situations like this. No matter how much she wanted to avoid him, he would always end up in front of her, scaring her more than she ever is. And now on top of this, he revealed that he was a cold blooded murderer which couldn't lessen the amount of hate she developed for him. The very next day she found herself in her bunk bed, counting her options while she was running out of time for university. As usual it was a hectic day, on her way to the hotel after completing her classes. It had been a week and she didn't see Bernard. Somehow it felt unusual because she was getting used to seeing him everyday now. His sudden disappearance was making her uncomfortable as she changed herself into her uniform. Veronica panicked and stepped back, taking a look at her ruined uniform in shock. "Oh I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do it!"
