Chapter 33

At work, sitting in a corner and leaning against the wall, Samantha felt drained today. It was not physical exhaustion but an unexplainable heavy psychological responsibility.

Lifting her hand, she suddenly realized how uncomfortable it was, now that she was relaxed. As a matter of fact, the scalded part was supposed to be exposed to the air so as to speed up the healing process, yet if it were not for her work, she wouldn't have wrapped her hand in a thick layer of gauze. She had no idea of how long it would even take to heal.

When she glanced around the hallway and saw that no was there nor coming, she decided to remove her bandage as she was feeling really uncomfortable at that moment.

With that in mind, she decided to remove it.

Perhaps it was poor ventilation, but after she slowly removed the bandage on her left hand, she noticed a few blisters had appeared on her left hand. Once the blister popped, some light yellow pus flowed out.
