The verdict

Ramon frowned slightly because he knew why Cassie had that look on her face. She was the culprit. But he wasn't going to let her take the fall. Instead, he was ready to do so for her. Memories of their time spent together ran through his mind and he shook his head to wipe them away.

Hrolf turned his gaze from Ramon to Cassie wondering what they were doing. Did they have a secret way of communicating with them? He wondered but he smiled when he recalled their past.

He walked in large strides toward his chair at the head of the table.

"Cassie," He called.

"Yes, Alpha,"

"Did you find anything of interest while you were at the stable?" He questioned.

Cassie moved forward and threw the arrow which had been collected on the table.

" Here," she pointed out at the arrow.

"Zeeb," Ramon murmured under his breath. Hrolf squinted his eyes wondering if he could talk audibly.

"What did you say?"He questioned Ramon.
